Chiropractic

Chiropractic Adjustments are used to reduce joint restrictions in the spine and other areas of the body to improve joint mobility and reduce pain. We use a hands-on approach to determine which joints can benefit from adjustments through palpation and proper movement assessments.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling involves the insertion of a small solid filament needle (similar to an accupuncture needle) into the muscle tissue with the goal to create a therapeutic change in the muscle, nerve, or joint. Dry needling is very effective at treating spine injuries, chronic pain, sports injuries, tendon injuries, and many more. More on Dry Needling.

Laser Therapy

Class IV Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to stimulate the body's natural ability to heal. During each painless treatment, laser energy increases circulation, drawing water, oxygen, and nutrients to the damaged area. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness, and pain. As the injured area returns to normal, function is restored and pain is relieved.

Cupping

The suction and negative pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow, and sedate the nervous system. Cupping is used to relieve back and neck pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, and headaches/migraines.

Myofascial Release

Techniques such as Active Release Technique (ART), percussion massage, trigger point (TrP) therapy, and body tempering all help to release muscle tension and soreness by using the provider's hands or some other device.

IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) or often called "scraping" helps increase blood flow and oxygen to the affected area by gliding a tool across the skin that eases tension from fascial adhesions or other types of scar tissue.

Flexion-Distraction Method

Using a specialized treatment table we are able to manually traction the spine in a repetitive  manner to unload and take pressure off of irritated or compressed discs. Similar to spinal decompression, but better.

Cervical Traction

Cervical Traction is a popular treatment for neck pain and related injuries. This device tractions your head away from your neck to create expansion between vertebrae and eliminate compression. We use this for nerve root and discogenic neck pain.

Sports Physical

Both of our doctors are trained and certified in performing junior high and high school pre-participation sports physicals. These are required yearly to participate in school athletic functions.
